Your measurements never leave your device
ThimblyWimbly: Sewing & Fitting Studio was designed around a simple principle: your body measurements, client profiles, pattern notes, and fitting photos belong to you alone. This policy explains, in plain language, how the app handles (and does not handle) information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect none. ThimblyWimbly does not require an account, an email address, or any sign-up step, and it does not request access to information beyond what you choose to enter into your own measurement profiles, project binders, or fitting journal.
2. How We Use Information
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. There is no advertising engine, no behavioral tracking, and no data pipeline of any kind running behind the app.
3. Data Storage
Every measurement profile, yardage calculation, notions list, and fitting snapshot is stored locally on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud server, and we do not operate any backend database that could receive your information.
4. Third-Party Services
ThimblyWimbly does not integrate third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. No outside company receives data from your use of the app, because no data leaves your device in the first place.
5. Data Security
Since your measurement vault and project records stay on-device rather than traveling across a network, there is no remote database to breach and no transmission to intercept. Your information is only as accessible as your device itself.
6. Children's Privacy
ThimblyWimbly does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. As no data collection takes place for any user, the app is compliant by design with COPPA and similar child-privacy protections.
7. Your Control
There is no account to manage and no server-held profile to delete, because none exists. Uninstalling the app permanently removes every measurement profile, project record, and fitting photo stored within it.
8. Changes to This Policy
Should this policy ever be updated to reflect new features or clarified language, the revised version will be published within the app with an updated effective date above. Continued use of ThimblyWimbly after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
